Welcome to the "Glockenralm" mountain restaurant

Tradition is not about holding the ashes, but about passing on the flame! That's why we're continuing the newly created “Glockneralm” with the alpine hut character of the old hunting lodge of our Emperor Franz and our Empress Sissi! The new house also brings a new change to the Schmittenhöhe!

The unique location is what counts - because it's the simple things in life that count. The Glockneralm is located directly at the entrance to the Drachenpark children's slope! An incredible panorama with a view of the impressive mountains with the Großglockner - what could be better?

Enjoying in our cozy rooms and on our sun terrace with traditional musical accompaniment is a highlight for the guests in our hut.

Come into the “guate Stubn" - (lounge) describes it quite well when you enter the Glockneralm through the front door. Every room in the Glockneralm is unique and a real eye-catcher!

From sweet delicacies to savory specialties, our fine alpine pasture has everything a guest's heart desires! With passion, joy and a lot of fun, our team warmly welcomes you to the 2023/2024 winter season.

The “Glockner-Stube” offers a feel-good factor. The parlor made from old wood invites you to enjoy. The bar in the middle and the wood-burning oven provide just the right ambience for sitting together with family and friends.

"Zirbenstube" - dine in a relaxed atmosphere

The highlight of the Glockneralm is certainly the “Zirbenstube”. The pine scent, which is said to have a positive effect on the mind and body, allows both young and old guests to relax.

"Kuhlimuh-Stube" - enjoyment in the most beautiful ambience

Once inside the Glockneralm you will find the open “Kuhlimuh-Stube”. The cow-look wallpapered benches and the pleasant light offer an alpine atmosphere to feel good.
